A few fair questions
Yes. All app features are free, including design, animation, rendering, local MCP integration and editable Fusion delivery to DaVinci Resolve. Your chosen AI service may have its own subscription or usage charges.
Create graphics and motion graphics using text, shapes, images, timing and effects. Animate your designs, build reusable compositions, customise included library items and bring the result into your video edits. Work visually or connect an AI agent.
You can use rendered media through image-sequence workflows. Import, assembly or conversion steps depend on the editor. Your design arrives as rendered media; its design controls stay in Carvercat. This does not mean Carvercat currently runs on macOS. Tested output and import guidance will accompany the beta.
Rendered media and audio provide the finished appearance for your edit. Editable Fusion delivery creates a composition you can work with inside Resolve, within the supported feature set. Both workflows are included at no charge. Supported versions, setup and editing limitations will be documented with the beta.
Yes. Local MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets a compatible AI client operate Carvercat through supported creation, refinement, rendering and delivery workflows. You can continue editing the same project visually. Carvercat’s integration is free; the AI client may require its own account, internet connection or paid plan. Supported clients and setup instructions will be confirmed for the beta.
Edit text, shapes, images, colours, timing and effects. Reuse a composition and change the controls it exposes for each version. Included starter items can be adapted to your project; the final beta selection and usage terms will be provided with the release.
We’re preparing the Windows beta. Downloads are not open yet. The release announcement will include the date, Windows requirements and installation guidance. Join the Discord community or follow the social channels for updates.
Design, animation, rendered export and Fusion compilation run locally on your computer. Direct Resolve delivery needs a compatible local DaVinci Resolve installation. Carvercat does not send your composition to a hosted compiler. An external AI client may need internet access and its own account.

No. Local app use, MCP integration and Fusion delivery do not require a Carvercat account. Your chosen AI provider may require its own account, separately from Carvercat.
Tested Resolve versions, edition requirements and connection setup will be listed with the Windows beta. We’re verifying compatibility before publishing that list. The workflow illustration does not certify support for every Resolve version or edition.
