A description you can start from.

carvercat is a dedicated motion-graphics design and animation workspace for human and local MCP agent editing. Its principal workflow delivers editable compositions into DaVinci Resolve’s Fusion workspace without building the node graph by hand. The app, local MCP and editable Fusion delivery are free; source remains private. It is in internal Pre-alpha development, with reviewed Alpha distribution planned.

A useful review follows revision.

  1. Identify the exact package/platform/Resolve edition or AI client.
  2. Create a small graphic with independent editable elements.
  3. Revise wording and timing, then save/reopen the source.
  4. Use the advertised delivery route and inspect actual Fusion output.
  5. Change a supported destination control and verify persistence.
  6. Report differences, recovery behaviour and qualification gaps alongside the result.

No public review package is offered yet. The development tutorials can explain intended exercises; they are not a substitute for exact-package testing. Independent criticism and observed limitations are useful. No favourable-coverage requirement, paid review or affiliate programme is implied.

Use the right visual.

A few distinctions to preserve.

  • Free app does not mean open source.
  • Local MCP does not mean every AI provider runs locally.
  • The preview is carvercat’s renderer, not Fusion.
  • Editable delivery is a supported subset, not all Fusion capabilities.
  • Internal Mac/Windows builds do not establish public package support.
  • Alpha does not lock every primary feature or promise a release date.
