The intended result.

Prepare a three-second comp.
- Create a disposable project and a comp named Lower Third.
- Choose 1920×1080 at 30 fps for 90 frames. Save as first-lower-third.carverproj in a writable folder.
- Confirm dimensions/rate/duration and move to frame 0.
These are exercise choices. At30 fps,90 frames means three seconds.
Build the static title.
- Draw a rectangle near the lower-left with frame-edge padding.
- Add Alex Morgan and Independent creative as separate text objects.
- Choose readable text/background contrast and space for longer wording.
- Set clip coverage for the90-frame exercise.
- Select and revise each object independently.
Expected: a legible static graphic, with no accidental clipping and a clear selection target for each edit.
Reveal the text.
- Key the name’s supported opacity property at fully transparent on frame 0.
- Key fully opaque on frame 12 using the interface’s displayed units.
- Inspect frames0,6 and12, then refine easing.
- Give the role a later entrance, for example frames4–16. Keep the supporting rectangle static.
- Play the full comp and confirm that clip lengths do not cause early disappearance.
Expected: a short entrance followed by a stable readable title. Exact UI gestures must be checked in your candidate; do not invent a key toggle when it is not visible.
Save, reopen, compare.
Save and reopen. Verify wording, position, clip coverage and animated frames. If they differ, preserve the file and report what changed. This is a required checkpoint; an exported graphic does not replace the editable source.
Inspect the actual output.
In Deliver, choose Files and a PNG sequence only if that route is supported by your candidate. Review full-comp range and a new output name/folder. Inspect dimensions, count, first/middle/final frames and intended alpha.
The intended exercise output has 90 frames. Check actual destination interpretation if importing a sequence into an editor. For editable Fusion, follow its separate qualified route and inspection steps.
